Ingredients:

  • 250 g butter
  • 1 tsp syrup
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 eggs

Directions:

  1. Beat butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs, syrup and bicarb of soda, dissolved in water.
  3. Add dry ingredients.
  4. Roll into balls and place on a baking tray.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C.
