Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup buttermilk

Directions:

  1. Cream together: butter, sugar and eggs.
  2. Sift together: flour and spices.
  3. Add baking soda to buttermilk.
  4. Add flour mixture to egg mixture a little at a time, alternating with buttermilk until well mixed.
  5. Fold in preserves and chopped nuts.
  6. Mix in vanilla extract.
  7. Bake in a greased and floured bundt pan at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
  8. Cool for 15 minutes before removing from pan.
