Ingredients:

  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1 can (small) pet milk plus 2 tsp. water
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 stick butter

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients except butter and vanilla in a 3 qt. pot. Cook to soft ball stage 234-240 degree stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla and beat throughly until it looses its gloss. Add nuts if desired and pour into buttered dish.
