Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a heavy saucepan, combine all. Bring to a simmer over a medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
  2. Reduce heat to low; simmer uncovered 30-45 minutes until fruit is soft and collapses and liquid has the consistancy of syrup, stirring occasionally.
  3. Options: Strain out fruit and add a few spoon of syrup into seltzer water or club soda for homemade soft drinks.
  4. If using blueberries- add 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
  5. If using apples- add 1-2 tablespoons of cinnamon sugar.
  6. Can be stored up to one week.
