Ingredients:

  • 30 g butter
  • 7/8 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence (optional)
  • 3/4-1 kg fruit

Directions:

  1. Melt butter, add rest of ingredients.
  2. Place boiling fruit in a large casserole,.
  3. Pour sponge mix over.
  4. Place in preheated oven 180 C for 30-40 minutes until cooked.
