Frosted Cookie Brownies

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Prepare 9 x 13-inch baking pan by spraying with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Bake for approximately 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  5. In a large saucepan over low heat, combine the marshmallows, chocolate chips, and butter.
  6. Cook and stir constantly until melted and smooth.
  7. Remove from heat and pour into a large mixing bowl.
  8. Cool completely.
  9. With electric mixer on medium speed, beat in eggs and vanilla.
  10. By hand, stir in flour, baking powder, and salt.
  11. Stir in marshmallow mixture.
  12. Stir in walnuts.
  13. Spread evenly over cookie crust.
  14. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
  15. Remove from oven and let cool.
  16. FOR FROSTING:
  17. In a medium saucepan, combine marshmallows, milk, butter, and chocolate.
  18. Cook and stir over low heat until smooth and melted.
  19. Remove from heat.
  20. Beat in confectioner's sugar with mixer.
  21. Spread over brownies and cut into bars.
