Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In large bowl, combine all ingredients EXCEPT cherries; stir until well blended.
  3. Fold in cherries.
  4. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.
  6. Cool for 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets.
  7. Cool completely.
  8. FROSTING:.
  9. In small bowl, combine all frosting ingredients EXCEPT cherries, adding enough half-and-half for desired spreading consistency.
  10. Frost cooled cookies; top each with one-fourth maraschino cherry.
