French Toast au Chocolat

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine first four ingredients and beat with a fork.
  2. Melt chocolate chips in microwave. Stir in preserves. Thinly spread over 6 slices of bread up to edges. Top with remaining slices of bread to make 6 sandwiches.
  3. Melt 1 Tbsp butter in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Dip 3 sandwiches into egg mixture and place in skillet. Cook 4-6 min, turning once. Remove to ovenproof platter and keep warm in 200 degree oven. Repeat.
  4. Mix powdered sugar and cocoa and sprinkle over toast. Serve with chocolate and/or preserves.
