Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp of caster sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoonful bicarbo ate of soda
  • 1 teaspoonful cream of tarter
  • 3 tbsp of milk
  • 2 tbsp of water
  • little almond essence flavouring - or other as desired.

Directions:

  1. MIX ALL THE DRY INGREDIENTS TOGETHER THOROUGHLY
  2. BEAT UP THE EGS WELL AND MIX WELL INTO THE DRY INGREDIENTS.
  3. NOW ADD THE MILK AND WATER AND ESSENCE, BEATING WELL.
  4. TURN INTO A WELL GREASED CAKE TIN
  5. COOK IN THE OVEN FOR 2O MINUTES
  6. AT GAS MARKK 6
