Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Put all dry ingredients and grated apple into a saucepan.
  2. Pour boiling water over it all, until it is just covered, and let it sit for a couple of minutes with the lid on the saucepan, it will absorb some of the water.
  3. Add milk of preference.... or water, until the mix is barely covered again.
  4. Place the saucepan on a high heat and stir until it boils.
  5. Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for a couple of minutes until it thickens up.
  6. Serve hot (it will thicken more as it cools) .......I like to pour a bit of cold milk over my serving.
