Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a saucepan, combine 2 cups half and half, eggs and sugar.
  2. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture reaches 160 degrees or is thick enough to coat a spoon, about 9 minutes.
  3. Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla, nutmeg and remaining half and half.
  4. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours.
  5. Pour into a punch bowl.
  6. Stir in whipping cream and soda.
  7. Top with scoops of ice cream and sprinkle with cherries.
  8. Serve immediately.
  9. Time does not include refrigeration time.
