Ingredients:

  • 1 can of chicken broth
  • 1 can of veggie broth
  • 1 clobe garlic
  • pinch oregano
  • 1/2 small onion
  • 1 small can of yellow or white hominy
  • dash of salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/4 can mild green chili (add less if you don'tsp like a little spice or add more if you like a lot of spice) i typically add 1/8 for the kids.

Directions:

  1. Dump everything into a 3 quart crockpot/slowcooker.
  2. Turn on low for 6-8 hours.
  3. Turn off 15-30 minutes before eating.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
  5. Optional:
  6. Add tortilla chips crumbled on top
  7. Add diced cilantro, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese
  8. Add wedge of lime or lemon
