Dutch Oven Beer Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp. backing soda
  • 1 1/2 cps brown sugar
  • oil

Directions:

  1. Use a 10 oven safe pan or Dutch Oven
  2. Blend brown sugae and dry ingredients with fingers into large bowl
  3. Mix in 1-1/2 bottle of warm dark beer with hands to look like dry biscuit dough (porter style beer)
  4. Heat top and bottom evenly
  5. Rotate bread after approx. 20 min
  6. Generously rub 1/2 cube butter on top of loaf, when almost done
