Drunken Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 1/2 cup vermouth
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • salt and pepper

Directions:

  1. Peel and slice the potatoes thinly.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  3. Put the potato slices in a pie plate you've sprayed with cooking spray (or greased).
  4. Overlap the slices.
  5. Pour the vermouth over the potatoes.
  6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  7. Dot with butter.
  8. Bake them, uncovered, for 30 to 40 minutes or until they are tender.
