Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
  3. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, vanilla and almond extracts.
  4. Mix in the flour mixture in stages. Stir in almonds and chocolate chips.
  5. Shape dough into 2 logs 3 inches wide and about 12-14 inches long.
  6. Place on ungreased baking sheet 3 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 20-30 minutes.
  8. Cool slightly and cut into 3/4-inch diagonal slices.
  9. Bake again for 10 minutes each side.
  10. Cool on a wire racks.
