Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp pine nuts
  • 1 tsp licorice , stick (not the root)

Directions:

  1. Grind all the ingredients together with a mortar and pestle.
  2. When fine enough mix in 2 teaspoons ground almonds.
  3. Add your own spices to flavour or to ease a cough for example:.
  4. Cinnamon, allspice, clove, ginger or cardamom.
  5. Add a little water to make a paste.
  6. Place on a board and lightly cover with granulated sugar and cut into pieces.
