Dawns Leek and Potato Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup water
  • seasoning
  • 3 tbsp cream (optional)

Directions:

  1. Clean and chop the leeks into 1/4 inch pieces.
  2. Place chopped onions and leeks into a large pan with water and and steam for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the stock and chopped potato bring to boil and then simmer for 1/2 hour.
  4. Season to taste.
  5. Can be served liquidised or chunky
  6. Add cream if using it , and serve.
