Dark Brown Sugar Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1-1/2 cups walnuts

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Lightly grease cookie sheets.
  3. Place butter in large bowl and cream lightly with electric mixer.
  4. Add sugars and beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
  5. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
  6. Add vanilla and lemon juice and mix well.
  7. In a separate bowl stir together flour, oatmeal, baking soda and salt.
  8. Add to creamed butter mixture and stir well to blend.
  9. Add chocolate chips and walnuts and stir to combine.
  10. Using a 1/4 cup measure drop batter on cookie sheets leaving 2 inches between each.
  11. Bake for 15 minutes them remove from cookie sheets and cool on wire racks.
