Crosby's Decadent Banana Loaf

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 overripe bananas
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup walnuts or 3/4 cup pecans, chopped

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Cream butter and sugar, mix in bananas, molasses and eggs until smooth. Mix together flour, baking soda and baking powder. Add to wet ingredients and beat until smooth. Fold in walnuts (pecans) and/or chocolate chips (peanut butter chips).
  3. Bake in 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 -inch loaf pan at 350F for 1 hour or until done.
