Crock Pot Apple Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups bisquick, divided
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar

Directions:

  1. Toss peeled and cored apples in large bowl with cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg.
  2. Place in lightly greased crockpot.
  3. Combine milk, softened butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and 1/2 cup Bisquick.
  4. Spoon over apples.
  5. Combine 1 cup Bisquick and brown sugar. cut the cold butter into mixture until crumbly.
  6. Sprinkle this mixture over top of apple mixture.
  7. Cover and cook on low 6-7 hours or until apples are soft.
  8. *****Check at 5 Hours****** I found 6-7 was too long and the edges burnt.
  9. *****Granny Smith Apples work the best *****
