  1. In a large bowl, combine Crab Cake Mix and mayo. Add crabmeat and gently toss until well blended. Shape into 24 balls.
  2. Fry in batches in hot oil until golden brown, turning once. Drain on paper towels. Serve with tartar sauce.
  3. My notes: Rather than gently tossing, break the crab meat into fine strands. Fry to a crispy, deep brown color. Serve with tartar sauce, straight up or cocktail sauce. I've hade them with both, and they are delicious.
