  1. Preheat oven to 400
  2. In 1 qt sauce pan, over med heat cook frozen onion until tender. Stir on undiluted soup and cream cheese cubes; cook , stirring constantly until smooth and hot
  3. In casserole dish alternatly layer frozen potatoes and hot cream sauce ending with a sauce layer
  4. Cover and bake 45 min or until sauce is bubbly and potatoes are tender.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese .
