Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Wash cranberries and place in a pot with the sugar, port and cinnamon.
  2. Bring to a boil over high heat.
  3. Reduce heat and boil gently, uncovered, until berries begin to pop (about 5 minutes).
  4. Stir in the slivered ginger.
  5. Remove from heat and chill overnight.
  6. Keeps in the refrigerator for about one week (if there is any leftover).
