Ingredients:

  • 2 packages active dry yeast (1/4 oz each)
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 6 1/2-7 cups all purpose flour

Directions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl,dissolve yeast in water.
  2. Add sugar,salt,eggs,oil,and 3 cups flour. Beat until smooth
  3. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough.
  4. Turn out onto a floured surface. Knead until smooth and elastic(6-8 minutes).
  5. Place in a greased bowl,turning to coat.
  6. Cover and let rise about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  7. Punch dough down. Divide in half and shape into loaves.
  8. Place dough in two greased 9 x5 x3 loaf pans.
  9. Cover and let rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  10. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Remove from pans and cool on wire racks.
