Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the 2 flours, cornmeal, baking powder,baking soda and salt.
  2. Mix to blend.
  3. In another bowl, mix together buttermilk and molasses.
  4. Add to dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. Stir in raisins and/or nuts.
  6. Pour into 3 WELL-greased 13 ounce coffee cans, filling to leave 2 inches on top.
  7. Cover each can with aluminum foil.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes.
  9. Cool slightly before turning out of cans.
  10. To store, package tightly in plastic wrap.
