Ingredients:

  • 1 lb raw walnut halves
  • 1 tbsp splenda granular
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Place walnuts in crockpot.
  2. In small bowl, mix together the butter, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp sugar, splenda, and vanilla.
  3. Mix well and pour over walnuts, toss well to coat.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 2 1/2 hours When done cooking, sprinkle the remaining sugar and cinnamon over the nuts and toss well.
  5. **Cook's Tip - don't worry about the small amount of real sugar in this recipe; it makes the cinnamon coat the nuts so much better than without it. The carbs are still low, so relax!
