Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Line an 8 square pan with foil; lightly butter bottom and sides.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate over low heat.
  3. Cool 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in sugar and vanilla.
  5. Add eggs, one at a time, stirring until smooth.
  6. Add flour and salt; stir in nuts.
  7. Pour into prepared pan.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes.
  9. Cool.
  10. Lift brownies from pan by foil edges and frost.
  11. To make icing, beat butter, vanilla, sugar and egg in a small bowl until smooth.
  12. Add warm chocolate and beat until smooth.
  13. Spread on brownies and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  14. Peel away foil and slice.
