Ingredients:

  • 5 quarts popped corn
  • 3/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 2 tsp cold water
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • red food coloring
  • green food coloring

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
  2. Place popped corn in large roaster, let stand in oven while making glaze.
  3. Stir 1/2 of the corn syrup, sugar, vanilla, cold water, margarine, and red food coloring in one pot, use other half of ingredients in another pot.
  4. Bring both to a boil.
  5. Stir in popcorn, make sure all is coated!
  6. Grease hands with shortening, quickly form popcorn into balls before it cools and place on waxed paper
  7. Once cooled, wrap in plastic wrap to store. Make a pretty Christmas arrangement for your table by putting these in a fancy bowl!
