Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Beat butter and brown sugar in a small mixer bowl then beat in flour.
  2. Press onto bottom of greased rectangular baking pan and bake in preheated 375 oven for 15 minutes.
  3. Cool completely.
  4. For filling spread jam over crust.
  5. Combine walnuts and sugar in small bowl then set aside 2 tablespoons for topping.
  6. Beat eggs until light in large mixer bowl then beat in remaining walnut mixture, flour and vanilla.
  7. Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips then pour over crust and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Immediately sprinkle remaining chocolate chips over top then let stand for 5 minutes until chips are shiny then spread.
  9. Sprinkle with reserved walnut mixture.
  10. Cool and chill for 10 minutes to set chocolate.
  11. Cut into bars.
