Chocolate Thumbprints

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 teasspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp sal
  • 1/3 cup miniture semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease baking sheets.
  3. Combine butter, sugar ,milk , vanilla and egg yolk.
  4. Beat at med sepped of mixer until well blended.
  5. Add chocolate and mix well.
  6. Combine flour and salt and add to chocolate mixuter, mix till well blended,
  7. Stir in chocolate chips.
  8. Form dough into 1 balls. Place 2 apart on prepared cookie sheet.
  9. Press thum gently into center of each cookie.
  10. Bake for 8 minutes, repress ceters after baking.
  11. Remove to cooling rack. Cool completely.
  12. Fill with peanutbuter filling.
  13. Peanutbuter filling:
  14. Combine butter and peanutbutter in meduim bowl.
  15. Stir untill blended.
  16. Add powder sugar, stir well.
  17. Add milk and vanilla, Stir till smooth
  18. Fill cooled thumbprints
  19. 21/2 dozen cookies
