Ingredients:

  • combine the following ingredients in blender or large mixer bowl
  • 1 1/2 cup. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 3 tbsps. flour
  • 3 tbsps. cocoa
  • 1 cup. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • dash salt

Directions:

  1. Blend for a few seconds until thoroughly mixed.
  2. (This takes three or four minutes if you use a mixer).
  3. Pour mixture into a nine inch pie shell, unbaked.
  4. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then turn down oven to 300 degrees and bake 25 minutes longer.
  5. Test by putting a knife blade in the center - if it comes out clean, pie is done.
  6. Top with meringue.
  7. Makes 1 nine inch pie.
