Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Melt the butter and mix with sugar, oatmeal, vanilla and salt.
  2. Press into a 9x13 pan and bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes.
  3. Cool completely.
  4. In a microwavable bowl, melt chocolate chips in the microwave.
  5. Stir in peanut butter and blend together well.
  6. Pour over cooled oatmeal bars.
  7. Allow chocolate mixture to cool (or refrigerate until it sets).
  8. Cut into bars and store in covered container.
  9. In hot, humid weather, store in refrigerator.
