Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup. of cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup.of shortening
  • 2 1/4 cup. of sugar
  • 1 cup. of chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 tsp. of vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cup. of flour
  • 1 tsp. of baking powder
  • 1 tsp. of salt

Directions:

  1. First you want to preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Next you need to butter a 9x13 pan.
  3. Then ,elt shortening in a large pan over low flame, then stir in cocoa.
  4. Now remove from heat.
  5. Take sugar and vanilla mix in then mix in eggs one at a time.
  6. Take remaining ingredients stirring in then stir in nuts.
  7. Let this bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Cool. Cut squares
