Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2/3 cup hershey's cocoa
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light.
  3. Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
  4. Stir in chopped macadamia nuts and coconut. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove cookies to wire rack to cool completely.
  5. Yield: 3-4 dozen.
