  2. In a large pot, add the ground beef mixture to the remaining ingredients.
  3. Use the lesser amount of spices, bring to a boil and simmer one hour for a milder chili.

  5. Add the larger amount of spices for a spicer chili and simmer one hour..
  6. Note: Use the lesser amount of spice, simmer 30 minutes and taste before adding the larger amount. Adjust to your taste.
