Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients for filling in a large bowl. Spoon into an 11x7 baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
  2. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt in a medium bowl. Cut in butter with a pastry blender or two knives until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in almonds. Sprinkle evenly over cherry mixture.
  3. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until filling is bubbly and topping is crisp. Let stand 5 minutes. Serve warm.
