  1. Combine flour and baking powder. Cut in cheese and butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle water evenly over flour mixture; stir with a fork until ingredients are moistened. Shape into a ball.
  2. Use a cookie press to shape dough into 2 1/2-inch long strips, following manufacturer's instructions, or roll dough to 1/8- inch thickness on a lightly floured surface, and cut into 2 1/2- x 1/2-inch strips.
  3. Place strips on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 400° for 12 minutes or until crisp. Place on wire racks to cool.
