  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Combine flour, cheese, baking powder, baking soda, basil and pepper in medium bowl. Add buttermilk and oil, mix only until dry ingredients are moistened. Divide dough into 2 balls. Knead gently 3 times on floured surface. Spray cookie sheet with vegetable spray. Pat dough into 2 circles 7-8 inches in diameter. With sharp knife, score each disk (1/4 inch deep) into 6 wedges, but do not cut through. Brush with egg substitute, if desired, to glaze. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cut into wedges and serve warm or at room temperature.
