  1. Place grilling paper pieces in a 1-qt. jar. Pour in tequila. Cover and let stand at room temperature 2 to 4 days. (The longer it sits, the more intense the cedar flavor.) Pour tequila through a fine wire-mesh strainer lined with a coffee filter or cheesecloth into a clean 1-qt. jar. Refrigerate, covered, up to 3 months.
