Ingredients:

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 8 quarts popped corn

Directions:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar, syrup and butter. Bring to boil and cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  2. Stir in baking soda, salt, vanilla and nuts. Pour over popcorn. Mix well.
  3. Bake 225 degrees F for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes.
