Caramel Apple Baked Brie

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 1 litre2 cup chopped and peeled gala or granney apples
  • 1litre4 cuo sweentened dried cranberries
  • 1 tbsp of chopped pecans
  • 2 tbsp of brandy or apple juice
  • 1/4 cup of packed brown sugar

Directions:

  1. Oven 350 degrees
  2. Melt butter and add apples, cranberries, sugar, pecans and brandy
  3. Cook for 3 minutes, stirring til sugar desolves
  4. Cut brie in half
  5. Place bottom half in ungreased 9 inch pie pan
  6. Spoon 1/2 topping over cheese.
  7. Place the other 1/2 cheese on top,secure with toothpicks, and pour remaining sauce on top
  8. Bake 15 to 20 minutes
  9. Serve with warm baquettes
