  1. FOR THE PEANUT BUTTER BALLS:.
  2. Melt the butter and peanut butter in a medium saucepan. Stir constantly, until smooth and creamy. Remove from heat.
  3. Add vanilla and stir well.
  4. Gradually mix in powdered sugar. Add more if needed. The balls should keep their shape, but be still soft.
  5. FOR THE CH0COLATE DIP:.
  6. Using a double boiler, melt all ingredients, stirring constantly until smooth and creamy.
  7. Shape the peanut butter into walnut sized balls. Set on wax paper. Dip one ball at a time in the chocolate, leaving about a quarter size spot uncovered.
  8. Set on another sheet of wax paper to set. Chill.
