Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

Directions:

  1. )Put butter into heavy skillet and slowly heat until butter is browned,about 5 minutes.2)Turn into mixing bowl.3)Beat the batter with the sugar,egg and vanilla until light.4)Add flour and baking powder,stirring to make a stiff dough.5)Shape into little balls using about 1 level tablespoon dough for each.6)Place on cookie sheet.7)Press center down with thumb to make an indentation.8)Bake at 300`f for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies are firm but not overly browned.
