Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp (1 oz) bourbon

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in top of a double boiler over simmering water. Add sugar and bourbon, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  2. Stirring until sugar dissolves. Gradually stir one-fourth of hot bourbon mixture into beaten eggs; add to remaining hot mixture in pan, stirring constantly. Cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes or until mixture thickens. Serve hot.
