Ingredients:

  • 62 whole cloves
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks (2-inch)
  • 3 quarts orange juice
  • 1 quart apple juice

Directions:

  1. Stud each orange with 10 whole cloves; place in baking dish.
  2. Bake at 325 degrees for 3 hours.
  3. Combine sugar, water, 12 whole cloves and cinnamon in sauce pan.
  4. Simmer 10 minutes.
  5. Remove cloves and cinnamon from pan.
  6. Add juices; heat.
  7. Pour into heatproof punch bowl.
  8. Float baked oranges in punch.
