Blueberry Turnovers

Ingredients:

  • crust
  • 2 cup. flour
  • 1 cup. shortening
  • filling
  • 1 can bluberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 egg

Directions:

  1. Mix flour and shortening together with fork until crumbly
  2. Add just enough water to form into ball
  3. Roll out onto floured surface.
  4. Cut into large circles (6 )
  5. Wet edges with water
  6. Place 1T blueberry into center of each cutout pastry
  7. Fold over and seal edges using a fork
  8. Brush with egg
  9. Sprinkle with sugar
  10. Bake 350 for 25 min.
  11. Icing
  12. Melt butter
  13. Add confectioners sugar, vanilla and milk until creamy
  14. Drizzle over pastries
  15. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!
