Blueberry-Maple Syrup Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups blueberries
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup

Directions:

  1. Wash and stem blueberries.
  2. Place in a deep saucepan and crush.
  3. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and add maple syrup.
  5. Return to medium heat and cook till thoroughly mixed.
  6. Remove from heat and serve while hot.
  7. Good topping for pancakes and ice cream.
