Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 cup sugar syrup
  • 2 cups vodka
  • 1/2 tsp lemon peel

Directions:

  1. Rinse berries and lightly crush. Add vodka, lemon peel, and clove. Pour into dark bottle and store for 3-4 months.
  2. Strain through dampened cheesecloth squeezing out as much juice as possible.
  3. Add sugar syrup to taste and store another 4 weeks.
  4. Liqueur will tend to be on the watery side. Try adding glycerin if a thicker consistency is desired. Good for baking.
