Ingredients:

  • 2 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • topping
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • cut butter into remaining ingredients, mix until
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 to 2 tsp hot water
  • mix all ingredients until smooth and of drizzling

Directions:

  1. Oven 375
  2. Pan 9” round or square, greased
  3. Prepare topping and set aside.
  4. Mix remaining ingredients except blueberries (and glaze) in large bowl. Fold in blueberries.
  5. Spread in pan.
  6. Sprinkle with topping.
  7. Bake 45 or 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out
  8. Clean
  9. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan if desired.
  10. Drizzle glaze over warm coffee cake.
  11. Serve warm or let stand until cool.
