Blue Margarita

  • lime wedge
  • 1/4 cup tequila
  • 2 tbsp blue curacao
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • lemon twists or lime twist


  1. Rub rim of a margarita or martini glass with lime wedge. Dip rim into a shallow dish of coarse salt or sugar; shake off excess and set aside.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes; add tequila, blue curacao, lime juice and the 1/2 tsp sugar. Cover and shake vigorously. Strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with a citrus twist.
